176. Whenever the Minister of Justice has, by order, appointed qualified persons to be justices of the peace in and for any district in Québec, such persons shall have and exercise all the powers, authority, rights and privileges, and shall be subject to all the duties, obligations and responsibilities conferred or imposed by law upon justices of the peace.
