142. The parole board shall determine the conditions that are to apply to the person and the duration of temporary absence, which may not exceed 72 hours per month. The time required to travel from the place of detention to the person’s destination is not included in the duration of the absence.
The parole board may, in addition, determine the frequency of temporary absences for family visits or in the case of a refusal, the date on which the person may re-apply in accordance with section 140.
