45. The Commission may require of institutions, palliative care hospices, competent professionals practising in a private health facility and agencies that they supply, in the manner and within the time specified, the statements, statistical data, reports and other information it needs for the performance of its functions under the first paragraph of section 42 or to carry out a mandate given to it by the Minister under the second paragraph of that section, provided it is not possible to link that information to any specific patient having received end-of-life care or to any specific health or social services professional having provided the care.

45.
