S-30.01 - Act respecting public transit authorities

11. Despite section 6, the board of directors of the Société de transport de Longueuil is composed of 12 members designated as follows:
(1)  Ville de Longueuil, acting through its regular council, designates six members from that council;
(2)  Ville de Longueuil, acting through its urban agglomeration council, designates two members from among the residents of the urban agglomeration, one of whom is a user of the public transit system and one of whom is a user of services adapted to the needs of handicapped persons;
(3)  each of the other municipalities whose territory is included in the urban agglomeration designates one member from among its council members.
For the purposes of subparagraph 2 of the first paragraph, one of the users must be a resident of the central municipality and the other a resident of another municipality whose territory is included in the urban agglomeration.

11. Ville de Longueuil, acting through its agglomeration council, shall designate the members of the board of directors of the Société de transport de Longueuil from among the members of its regular council and the councils of the other municipalities whose territory is included in the agglomeration except for two members that it shall choose from among the residents of the agglomeration, one of whom shall be a user of the public transportation services and the other a user of services adapted to the needs of handicapped persons.

11. Ville de Longueuil shall designate the members of the board of directors of the Société de transport de Longueuil from among the members of its council except for two members that it shall choose from among its residents, one of whom shall be a user of the public transportation services and the other a user of services adapted to the needs of handicapped persons.
