82. Where a fire involves loss of life, the coroner shall exercise, in addition to the responsibilities entrusted to the coroner under the Coroners Act (chapter C-68.01), the responsibility for determining the point of origin, probable causes and circumstances of the fire according to the procedure determined in that Act.
Once the causes and circumstances have been established, the fire investigation commissioner may examine them if they have any connection with other fires.

82. Where a fire involves loss of life, the coroner shall exercise, in addition to the responsibilities entrusted to the coroner under the Act respecting the determination of the causes and circumstances of death (chapter R-0.2), the responsibility for determining the point of origin, probable causes and circumstances of the fire according to the procedure determined in that Act.
Once the causes and circumstances have been established, the fire investigation commissioner may examine them if they have any connection with other fires.
