22. The Minister may inquire or designate a person to inquire into any situation that could endanger the safety of a person practising a sport.

22. The board, at the request of the Minister or on its own initiative, may inquire or designate a person to inquire into any situation that could endanger the safety of a person practising a sport or be detrimental to the good reputation of any category of sports contemplated in section 40.

22. The board, at the request of the Minister or on its own initiative, may inquire or designate a person to inquire into any situation that could endanger the safety of a person practising a sport or be detrimental to the good reputation of any category of sports contemplated in section 40.
The board, or any person designated by it, carrying out an inquiry, for the purposes of the first paragraph, is vested with the powers and the immunity of commissioners appointed under the Act respecting public inquiry commissions (chapter C-37), except the power to impose imprisonment.
