97. A Québec company must give notice to the Authority of the resignation of a director within 10 days of the resignation and must file a copy of the statement referred to in section 96. The Authority shall send the notice and the copy of the statement to the enterprise registrar who shall deposit them in the register.

The Agency shall send the notice and the copy of the statement to the enterprise registrar who shall deposit them in the register of sole proprietorships, partnerships and legal persons.

97. Every Québec company shall give notice to the Inspector General of the resignation of a director within 10 days of the resignation by filing a declaration to that effect in accordance with the Act respecting the legal publicity of sole proprietorships, partnerships and legal persons (chapter P-45) and transmit to him a copy of the statement contemplated in section 96, if any.
