33. The certificate contemplated in section 32 may be issued by a physician in charge of health services in the establishment by another physician or by a specialized nurse practitioner.
If the certificate is issued by the physician in charge of health services in the establishment he must, at the worker’s request, notify the physician or specialized nurse practitioner designated by the worker.
If the certificate is issued by another physician or by a specialized nurse practitioner, that professional must, before issuing it, consult with the physician in charge of health services in the establishment or, if there is no physician in charge, with the public health director of the region in which the establishment is situated, or the physician or specialized nurse practitioner designated by him.
