7. The Société is administered by a board of directors consisting of from 9 to 15 members, including the chair and the president and chief executive officer.

The Government shall appoint the members of the board, other than the chair of the board and the president and chief executive officer, after consulting with bodies designated by the board and representative of any of the following sectors or groups:

(1)  business;

(2)  insurance;

(3)  law;

(4)  health;

(5)  highway safety;

(6)  road victims; and;

(7)  road users.

7. The Société is administered by a board of directors consisting of from 9 to 15 members, including the chair and the president and chief executive officer.

The Government shall appoint the members of the board, other than the chair of the board and the president and chief executive officer, after consulting with bodies designated by the board and representative of any of the following sectors or groups, and based on the expertise and experience profiles approved by the board:

(1)  business;

(2)  insurance;

(3)  law;

(4)  health;

(5)  highway safety;

(6)  road victims; and;

(7)  road users.

Board members are appointed for a term of up to four years.

7. The Société is administered by a board of directors consisting of a chairman and 11 other members appointed by the Government.

The 11 other members are appointed from a list containing at least three names for each position to be filled, drawn up by the board of directors after consultation with bodies designated by the board and representative of any of the following sectors or groups:

(1)  business;

(2)  insurance;

(3)  law;

(4)  health;

(5)  highway safety;

(6)  road victims; and

(7)  road users.

The Government shall designate the vice-chairman of the board of directors.
