R-9.1 - Act respecting the Pension Plan of Certain Teachers

34. The pension granted to the spouse is paid for life and runs until the first day of the month following his death.

34. Sections 45 to 55, 58, 59, 99, 217 to 219 and 236.2 of the Act respecting the Government and Public Employees Retirement Plan (chapter R-10) apply, adapted as required.
The years and parts of a year giving entitlement to the increase provided by section 20 are recognized for the purposes of eligibility for the deferred annuity and sections 21, 22, 24 and 25 apply to the deferred annuity.
