206. A decision of Retraite Québec terminating a pension plan shall indicate the date of termination and the names of the members and beneficiaries affected.
The decision shall be communicated to the pension committee, which shall forthwith transmit it to every member and beneficiary affected, to every certified association representing members affected, to the employer and, where applicable, to the insurer.

206. Before approving a draft termination report or a supplement thereto providing for the payment of surplus assets to the employer or to the members or beneficiaries affected, the Régie shall verify that the designated recipient is the person entitled thereto and that the determination of such surplus assets and payment thereof are, in other respects, in conformity with the law.

206. Before approving a draft termination report providing for the payment of surplus assets to the employer or to the members or beneficiaries affected, the Régie shall verify that the designated recipient is the person to whom the assets are to be allocated under the terms of the plan and that the determination of such surplus assets and payment thereof are, in other respects, in conformity with the law.
Where entitlement to the surplus assets is contested by reason, in particular, of amendments made to the plan, the Régie may approve the draft only in part and postpone its decision on the said surplus until final settlement of the dispute.
