80. The pension granted to the spouse and children runs until the first day of the month following the date the beneficiary ceases to be entitled to it.

80. A pension granted to a spouse and children is paid in arrears.
The pension runs till the first day of the month following the date the beneficiary ceases to be entitled to it.

80. The benefits contemplated by sections 77 and 78 shall be paid in monthly instalments at the due date and shall continue as regards any person until the first day of the month next after the date on which such person ceases to be entitled thereto.
Nevertheless, the Government may order, on such conditions as it determines, that such benefits shall be paid in twenty-six instalments instead of twelve.
For the purposes of the said sections, the expression dependent child means any unmarried child, whatever be his filiation, who is substantially dependent upon the widow or widower for his subsistence, and the expression educational institution means every institution defined as such by a regulation made for such purpose by the Government. Such a regulation shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette officielle du Québec or on such later date as is indicated therein.
