24.1. (Repealed).

24.1. An officer 65 years of age or over may continue to hold pensionable employment under the plan provided for in this division and receive benefits as a pensioner, and the rules provided in sections 61 to 72 of the Act respecting the Government and Public Employees Retirement Plan (chapter R-10) apply, adapted as required.
However, the provisions of the first paragraph do not apply from 31 December of the year in which the officer attains 71 years of age, and the officer shall receive his benefits at the latest from that date, even if he holds pensionable employment under the plan provided for in this division.
