35.2. For the purposes of establishing the average pensionable salary, the pensionable salary and the contributory periods shall be determined according to the years and parts of a year of service credited to the teacher under the Civil Service Superannuation Plan or the Pension Plan of Peace Officers in Correctional Services and according to the basis of remuneration applicable to each of those years, namely 200 or 260. The same rule applies for the purposes of section 38 and sections 36, 44, 45, 47 and 65 to the extent that, in the last cases, they refer to section 38.
However, the pensionable salary and the contributory periods of all the years and parts of a year of service credited under this plan on the basis of actuarially equivalent benefits, and those of any years and parts of a year preceding them, are excluded from the average pensionable salary.

The same rule applies for the purposes of section 38 and sections 36, 44, 45, 47 and 65 to the extent that, in the last cases, they refer to section 38.
