68. Every person who wishes to hold an employment contemplated in this plan and receive benefits must make an application therefor.
He must accompany his application with a certificate of employment containing, in particular, the annual salary contemplated in section 64 and the other information that may be required by Retraite Québec.

68. From the date on which the payment of the pension of a pensioner who dies ceases, the widow or widower of the pensioner is entitled to receive, for life, in monthly instalments in arrears, a pension equal to one-half of the pension such pensioner was receiving or would otherwise have been entitled to receive.
If the emloyee was qualified for an annual pension and, at the time of his death, had not applied therefor, the widow or widower of the employee is entitled to receive, from the time of the death, one-half of the pension that such employee would have been entitled to receive. Such pension is payable for life in monthly instalments in arrears.
