R-10 - Act respecting the Government and Public Employees Retirement Plan

4. This retirement plan does not apply to a person who
(1)  is under 18 years of age;
(2)  becomes an employee on or after 31 December of the year in which he attains 69 years of age;
(3)  is excluded therefrom by regulation by reason of his class or conditions of employment or his remuneration or mode of remuneration;
(4)  is entitled to benefits under a retirement plan provided for in the Courts of Justice Act (chapter T-16);
(5)  is member of the Sûreté du Québec;
(6)  is a Member of the National Assembly
(7)  (paragraph repealed);
(8)  is a member of the Pension Plan of Peace Officers in Correctional Services;
(9)  subject to section 3.2 of this Act, is a member of the Pension Plan of Management Personnel.

4. This retirement plan does not apply to a person who
(1)  is under 18 years of age;
(2)  becomes an employee on or after 31 December of the year in which he attains 69 years of age;
(3)  is excluded therefrom by regulation by reason of his class or conditions of employment or his remuneration or mode of remuneration;
(4)  is entitled to benefits under a retirement plan provided for in the Courst of Justice Act (chapter T-16);
(5)  is member of the Sûreté du Québec;
(6)  is a Member of the National Assembly
(7)  (paragraph repealed);
(8)  is an employee who is a member of the Pension Plan of Peace Officers in Correctional Services;
(9)  subject to section 3.2 of this Act, is a member of the Pension Plan of Management Personnel.

4. The retirement plan does not apply to a person who

(4)  is a resident physician or an intern;
(5)  is employed on a casual basis within the meaning of the regulations;
(6)  benefits by a retirement plan provided for by the Courts of Justice Act (chapter T-16);
(7)  is a member of the Sûreté du Québec;
(8)  is a Member of the National Assembly;
(9)  is an administrator of state within the meaning of the Public Service Act (chapter F-3.1.1) or is a member of an agency to whom the plan would otherwise apply, if the person applies therefor and if the Government makes an order to that effect;
(10)  is part of a category of employees designated by regulation.

4. The retirement plan does not apply to a person who

(10)  is part of a category of employees designated by regulation.

4. This act does not apply to a person who benefits by a retirement plan provided for by the Courts of Justice Act (chapter T-16), to a member of the Sûreté du Québec or to a member of the Legislature.

4. This act does not apply to judges, commissioners of the Commission des valeurs mobilières who benefit by the retirement plan provided for by the Courts of Justice Act (chapter T-16), coroners who benefit by the same plan, members of the Sûreté du Québec or Members of the Legislature.
