31.61. The Minister may require any person required to transmit a characterization study, a toxicological and ecotoxicological risk assessment and groundwater impact assessment or a land rehabilitation plan to the Minister, or any person requesting an amendment to an approved rehabilitation plan, to furnish any additional information, document, study or expert evaluation the Minister considers necessary to determine the nature and extent of the contamination involved, the risk and impacts for the quality of the environment or for the life, health, safety, welfare or comfort of human beings, ecosystems, living species or property, and the effectiveness of the rehabilitation or protection measures.
