87. The inspector shall remit a duplicate of the minute to the person from whom the thing has been seized or, if no one is on the premises, he shall deposit the duplicate in the office of the clerk of the Court of Québec for the judicial district in which the thing has been seized.
If there is no one on the premises while an inspection is carried on, the person conducting an inspection shall leave a notice in a conspicuous place stating that a search or inspection of the premises has been conducted. If anything has been seized, the notice shall also indicate the office where the duplicate of the minute of the seizure has been filed and where to obtain information on the place of detention of the thing seized.
