27. Where, after making a recommendation to the chief executive officer of a public body, the Public Protector is of opinion that no satisfactory measure has been taken within a reasonable time by the chief executive officer to remedy the situation adequately, he may notify the Government in writing and, if he deems it expedient, he may relate the case in a special report or in his annual report to the National Assembly.

27. (1)  If, within a reasonable delay, after making a recommendation under section 26, the Public Protector is of opinion that the appropriate measures have not been taken to give effect thereto, he may so notify the Government and, if he deems it expedient, make a special report to the National Assembly, or make known the situation in his annual report.
(2)  If, on completion of an investigation, the Public Protector is of the opinion that a person has suffered an injustice by reason of the tenor of a law or regulation, he may suggest amendments to the Government and, if he deems it expedient, make a special report to the National Assembly or make known the situation in his annual report.
