22. Family benefits are untransferable and unseizable.
However, at the request of the Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity, the Board shall deduct from the family benefits payable under this Act the amount repayable under section 102 of the Act respecting income support, employment assistance and social solidarity (chapter S-32.001). The Board shall remit the amount so deducted to the Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity.

However, at the request of the Minister of Income Security, the Board shall deduct the benefits recoverable under section 35 of the Act respecting income security (chapter S‐3.1.1) from the family benefits payable under this Act. The Board shall remit any amount so deducted to the Minister of Income Security.
