16. A notary who wishes to resign as an officer or member of the board of directors or any of its committees shall do so in writing. His resignation shall take effect on the date agreed upon with the board of directors or the executive committee.

16. A notary who wishes to resign as an officer or member of the Bureau or any of its committees shall do so in writing. His resignation shall take effect on the date agreed upon with the Bureau or the Administrative Committee.

16. No notary may resign as an officer or member of the Bureau or any of its committees unless he does so in writing and his resignation is accepted by the Bureau or the Administrative Committee.
