49. The members of the Board or any person appointed by it in writing shall at all times have a right of access to all the books, registers, accounts and other records of any person who operates an undertaking in an establishment; any person having the custody, possession or control of such books, registers, accounts, records and other documents must give communication thereof to the members of the Board or to the person appointed by it and shall facilitate their or his examination of the same.
The members of the Board or any person whom it appoints in writing may also verify at all times whether the equipment of any establishment complies with the standards determined by regulation.
If the members of the Board have, or any person whom it has appointed in writing has reasonable grounds to believe that an infringement of this act or of the regulations has been committed, such members or person may, upon such conditions as they determine or as he determines terminate forthwith any race.
