81. The returning officer shall certify as true the copies of the electoral list he has received under subsection 1 of section 74, for the following purposes: one copy for examination in his office, another for conducting the election, two others for the director general of elections, two others for the revision and a copy for each person referred to in subsection 3 of section 74.

81. The returning-officer shall use the five copies of the list sent to him in conformity with subsection 1 of section 74, in the following manner: he shall keep one copy of it and make it available to the public for examination at his office; he shall keep one copy of it for conducting the election and preparing copies in accordance with subsection 3 of sections 74 and 76. Two other copies must be sent forthwith to the director general of elections; the other copy must be kept by the returning-officer for a revision; if original copies are lacking, copy certified as true is deemed to be an original copy for the purposes of this provision.
