L-4.1 - Act respecting electoral lists

57. (1)  Every enumerator who refuses or neglects to fulfil any of the duties imposed upon him by this act may be dismissed and replaced at any time by the returning officer.
(2)  An enumerator dismissed for the reasons mentioned in subsection 1 of this section shall be entitled to no remuneration.
(3)  When an enumerator dies or, for any other reason, becomes unable to act, the returning officer must appoint another enumerator to replace him.
(4)  Every enumerator dismissed or replaced under this section and his assigns, as the case may be, must, on demand of the returning officer, deliver to him the election papers, forms, badge and written instructions obtained by such enumerator for the performance of his duties.
