407. Every person shall be guilty of an offence, in this act called personation, and liable to a fine of one hundred dollars to five hundred dollars and to imprisonment for six months to two years and, failing payment of the fine, to an additional imprisonment of three months to one year, who
(a)  applies for a ballot-paper at an election in the name of some other person, whether such name is that of a person living or dead or of a fictitious person;
(b)  having voted at an election, applies at the same election or at an election held on the same day in another electoral district for a ballot-paper in his own name.
