379. Every person who leases or lets, as a place of assembly for an election committee or election meeting, any hall or room in which alcoholic beverages are retailed, or makes use of any such hall or room for that purpose, shall be guilty of an offence and liable to a fine of not more than one hundred dollars and, on failure to pay such fine, to imprisonment for not more than three months.
