378. (Replaced).
378. (1) During the day mentioned in section 377 and under the same penalties, but subject to the same exception in case of sickness, it is forbidden to cause to be brought or transported, or to bring or transport, any quantity of an alcoholic beverage, within the limits of an electoral district where an election is being held, or from one place to another in such district.
(2) This prohibition shall not affect the sale, transport, delivery or purchase of alcoholic beverages made in good faith and in the ordinary course of business by a merchant or trader, provided that the cases, casks, bottles or packages containing the beverages are not opened, broken or undone during the day above mentioned.
