371. Except the returning-officer, the deputy returning-officer, the poll-clerk and the municipal constables and special constables appointed by the returning-officer or the deputy returning-officer for the preservation of peace and good order during the election or poll, no person shall come, during any part of the day upon which the poll is to remain open, into such polling-subdivision armed with a club, firearm, sword or any similar offensive weapon.
