369. Any returning-officer or deputy returning-officer may arrest, or cause by oral order to be arrested, and place in the custody of municipal constables or other persons, any person disturbing the peace and good order at the election. On polling-day he may also, by an order over his signature, cause such person to be imprisoned until the hour of the closing of the poll.
