334. (1)  If all the ballot-papers of an electoral district are rejected by the judge, the returning-officer shall not have the right to give a casting vote; in such case he shall immediately fix another date for the nomination of candidates and proceed to a new election, in accordance with the provisions of section 173.
(2)  Such new election shall be conducted in every other respect as an ordinary election, but the revised lists used at the election in which all the ballot-papers were rejected shall be used for such new election.
