326. (1)  On the day and at the hour and place appointed and in the presence of such of the above mentioned persons as are present, the judge shall make such re-addition prescribed by section 306, or recount all the votes and ballot-papers returned by the several deputy returning-officers to the returning-officer, as the case may be.
(2)  In the case of a recount the judge and any person mentioned in section 325 who is present shall have the right to examine the whole contents of the ballot-box.
