275. (1)  After counting the ballot-papers and drawing up a list of the number of votes given for each candidate, and of the number of rejected ballot-papers, the deputy returning-officer shall put all the ballot-papers assigned to each candidate in a separate envelope or parcel.
(2)  He shall likewise put the ballot-papers rejected and those unused into separate envelopes or parcels.
(3)  The deputy returning-officer shall seal all such envelopes and parcels and endorse them so as to indicate their contents. The deputy returning-officer and poll-clerk must, and the agents and electors present in the polling-station may if they wish, write their signatures across the seals in such manner that the signature appears partly on the gummed paper band used for the seal and partly on the envelope and the parcel.
