264. Every poll-clerk who refuses or neglects to make the entries required by law in the poll-book shall be guilty of an offence and liable to a fine of fifty dollars to two hundred dollars and to an imprisonment of eight days to thirty days and, on failure to pay the fine, to an additional imprisonment of eight days to thirty days.
