246. Any elector whose name has been omitted in making the copy of or the extract from the electoral list in use for the voting in a polling-station shall be entitled to vote at such polling-station, provided he delivers to the deputy returning-officer an attestation of the returning-officer or the election-clerk, drawn up in the form 51, establishing that his name is entered on the revised electoral list in use for the election in progress, and complies in all other respects with the conditions required by law to be entitled to vote.
