227. When in a general election different regions or localities in Québec are under different standard times, the Gouvernement may order, for the purposes of sections 225 and 289, that one only of such standard times, designated by it, shall apply everywhere throughout Québec. It may make an order in the same manner for the purposes of a by-election in any electoral district where the standard time is not everywhere the same.
