L-4.1 - Act respecting electoral lists

129. (1)  Any error in the name or designation of a person on an electoral list may be corrected upon the application of such person, made orally or in writing and under oath.
(2)  Any elector entered or entitled to be entered on the list for a rural subdivision of an electoral division may make a similar oral or written application under oath for the correction of the name or designation of a relative whose name is already entered on the list for any rural subdivision in the same division.
(3)  The oaths provided for by this section must be taken before a revisor, the returning officer, the election clerk, any assistant election clerk, the secretary-treasurer of the municipality or any other person specially appointed for that purpose by the director general of elections.
