L-4.1 - Act respecting electoral lists

105. (1)  The board of revisors upon completing its work shall prepare in two copies an abstract of each entry, striking off and correction made to the list of each polling subdivision and send such copies without delay, with the copy of the revised list, to the returning officer.
In addition, the board of revisors, likewise upon completing its work, shall prepare in five copies for each of the persons mentioned in subsection 3 of section 74 an abstract of each entry, striking off and correction made to the list of each polling subdivision and send such copies to the returning officer not later than Tuesday of the week preceding the polling when the revision is made during an election period.
(2)  Such abstract must be made in form 26 for each polling subdivision, even if no change has been made and the board of revisors must certify the number of names included in the list prior to the revision, the number added, the number struck off, the number corrected and the total number of electors included in the revised list.
(3)  The returning officer must forward immediately, by registered or certified letter of messenger, to the persons mentioned in subsection 3 of section 74, and to each candidate if the revision is made during the election period, five copies of each of the abstracts he has received from the board of revisors.
After the annual revision, the returning officer must prepare a copy of such abstracts and send it free of charge, within fifteen days of receiving them, to every municipality or school board comprised in whole or in part in his electoral division.
(4)  When the returning officer has not enough abstracts to satisfy the prescriptions of this section, he must make copies thereof, certify them as true copies and deliver them free of charge to the persons entitled thereto.
(5)  Every person receiving a duplicate or copy of such abstracts from the returning officer must send him a receipt duly dated and signed, or have one sent.
