22. The secretary shall enter the resignation of the member in the Journals of the House.

22. The Secretary General of the Assemblée nationale shall enter such resignation in the Journals of the House, and the President under his hand shall address his warrant to the director general of elections so that he may issue a writ for the election of a new member in the place of the member resigning; and a writ shall be issued accordingly.
