103.18. Every person who ceased to be a Member after 31 December 1982 but before 1 January 1988 may elect, from 1 January 1988, for the pension plan established under the Act respecting the conditions of employment and the pension plan of the Members of the National Assembly (chapter C-52.1) by transmitting a written notice to the Office.
The notice must be given not later than 1 July 1988.

103.18. A person contemplated in section 103.1 may elect for the pension plan established by the Act respecting the conditions of employment and the pension plan of the Members of the National Assembly (chapter C-52.1) by transmitting a written notice to the Office.
The notice must be given
(1)  within four months following the date on which the person ceases to be a Member of the National Assembly;
(2)  within the year preceding his seventy-first birthday, if he is a Member of the National Assembly.
In the case provided for in subparagraph 2, the election takes effect from that anniversary.
