96. No provision of this Act shall prohibit members of a professional order from purchasing and using alcoholic beverages

(a)  for solution or sterilization purposes;

(b)  in any preparation for external application that they administer themselves; or

(c)  in compounding medicines.

96. No provision of this Act shall prohibit members of the Ordre professionnel des médecins du Québec, the Ordre professionnel des dentistes du Québec, the Montréal Homoeopathic Association or the Ordre professionnel des médecins vétérinaires du Québec from purchasing and using alcoholic beverages

(a)  for purposes of solution or sterilization;

(b)  in any preparation for external application administered by themselves;

(c)  in compounding medicines, provided the alcoholic beverages used by them are brandy, as defined in the British Pharmacopoeia, or rum.

No provision of this Act shall prohibit members of the Corporation professionnelle des médecins du Québec, the Corporation professionnelle des dentistes du Québec, the Montréal Homoeopathic Association or the Corporation professionnelle des médecins vétérinaires du Québec from purchasing and using alcoholic beverages

(a)  for purposes of solution or sterilization;

(b)  in any preparation for external application administered by themselves;
