54. (Repealed).

54. The Commission, after considering the application for renewal, may grant or refuse it or defer its decision until after a public hearing.
Sections 44, 46 and 47 shall apply, mutatismutandis, to the inquiry provided for in this section.
If the application is granted, the renewal shall become effective on the following 1 May or on the date determined by the regulations made under section 12. If the application is the object of a public hearing provided for in the first paragraph and if the Commission’s decision has not been rendered on 1 May or on any other date contemplated in this paragraph, the permit shall remain in force until the date of the Commission’s decision.
The renewal shall be certified in the manner determined by the regulations made by the Commission under section 12.
