162. Upon conviction of a member of a partnership, the Attorney General, if the prosecution has been instituted on his instructions, or the municipal corporation which instituted the prosecution, may, if the goods and effects of the defendant are insufficient, cause the goods and effects of the partnership which are found in the place where the offence was committed to be seized and sold.
