78. Subject to the last paragraph of section 49, every Canadian citizen of full age who has been domiciled in the school municipality for at least six months and who is not legally disqualified shall be eligible as school commissioner or trustee for any ward of the school municipality.

No person may be elected as school commissioner or trustee or hold such office on a school board of which his spouse is a member.
