45. Commissioners elected or appointed pursuant to the Act respecting school elections to elect certain members of the boards of directors of English-language school service centres (chapter E-2.3) cannot be members of the governing board of a school under the authority of the school service centre.
However, when carrying out a mandate under paragraph 4 of section 176.1, a commissioner may take part in meetings of the governing board but is not entitled to vote.

45. The principal shall assist the orientation committee in the exercise of its functions and powers and, for that purpose, he shall
(1)  coordinate the elaboration of the educational project of the school;
(2)  promote the collaboration of the parents, students and staff and their participation in the life of the school.
