9. (Repealed).

9. Notwithstanding section 6, a municipal corporation may, during the five years following the acquisition of an immovable under this Act, lease it for any purpose, without approval, for a term not exceeding three years.
An immovable may be leased pursuant to the first paragraph after the expiry of the five-year period, provided that the leasing is approved by the Minister of Municipal Affairs.
