16. The board of directors shall fix the remuneration, employment benefits and other conditions of employment of the president and chief executive officer. The remuneration and employment benefits of the president and chief executive officer shall be submitted to the Government for approval.

The other members of the board of directors shall receive no remuneration, except in such cases, on such conditions and to such extent as the Government may determine. They are entitled, however, to the reimbursement of the expenses they incur in the performance of their duties, on the conditions and to the extent determined by the Government.
