55. (Repealed).

55. The court must give the parties, in such manner as it considers appropriate, notice of not less than five clear days of the date, time and place when and where they may be heard.
If a party convened fails to appear or refuses to be heard at the sitting fixed or an adjournment of that sitting, the court may, as the case may be, proceed exparte, render the appropriate order or even declare the appeal abandoned.
