Section 182 Disposition versions

2006-12-13

182. The following persons are guilty of an offence and are liable to a fine of $500 to $10,000:

(1)  every person who contravenes the first paragraph of section 31 or fails to comply with the conditions of an authorization obtained from the Minister pursuant to the first paragraph of that section;

(2)  every person who contravenes section 32 or fails to comply with the provisions of the management permit issued to that person by the Minister pursuant to this Act relating to the construction, improvement or decommissioning of a forest road;

(3)  every person who destroys or damages a road in a forest environment on lands in the domain of the State.

182. Every person who contravenes a rule of forest management prescribed under paragraphs 3 or 4 to 6 of section 171 is liable to a fine of $125 to $1 225.

Every person who contravenes a rule of forest management prescribed under paragraphs 1, 3 or 4 to 6 of section 171 is liable to a fine of $125 to $1 225 from the sixth day after the sending to the offender by an authorized representative of the Minister of a notice enjoining him to comply with the applicable rules.

Every person who contravenes a rule of forest management prescribed under paragraphs 1, 3 or 4 to 6 of section 171 is liable to a fine of $100 to $1 000 from the sixth day after the sending to the offender by an authorized representative of the Minister of a notice enjoining him to comply with the applicable rules.

182. Every person who contravenes a rule of forest management prescribed under paragraphs 1, 3 or 4 to 6 of section 171 is liable, in addition to costs, to a fine of $100 to $1 000 from the sixth day after the sending to the offender by an authorized representative of the Minister of a notice enjoining him to comply with the applicable rules.
