190.1. The director general may appoint two assistants to assist him in the carrying out of his functions. He shall determine their status. Where the Public Service Act (chapter F-3.1.1) is not then applicable to an assistant, it is hereby made applicable to him without any other formality.
The director general may delegate generally or specially the exercise of the powers and duties conferred on him by this Act, the Act respecting electoral lists (chapter L-4.1) and the Act to govern the financing of political parties (chapter F-2). The act of delegation shall be published in the Gazette officielle du Québec.
He may delegate the powers conferred on him by section 44 of the Act to govern the financing of political parties to any person he may designate for that purpose.
