203.1. Every employer shall, upon written request, grant leave without pay to an employee who is an elected member of an English-language school service centre’s board of directors.
The request may be made at any time after the date the employee is declared elected, even before the employee becomes a member of the council
Notwithstanding the foregoing, no employer may be required pursuant to the first paragraph to grant leave without pay to an employee for a total period of more than six years or two terms, whichever is longer.
